DÉSAXÉES- MÉLISSA BRUN & ADELYNE HUGUENIN-VIRCHAUX
Melissa Brun and Adelyne Huguenin-Virchaux are scenographers specialised in exhibition design. They are also educational artistic workshops designers for various cultural institutions such as Louis Vuitton Foundation, Palais de Tokyo and Centquatre.
After several collaborations on exhibition design projects, in particular in French Poitou Charentes region, they conceived the scenography for l’Abbaye de Saint-Savin-sur-Gartempe and produced a scenograph sketch for the archaeological site of Roc-aux-Wizards, amongst other things. They follow a specialized carpentry training in manufacturing and design in order to carry out a principle of modular set design with raw wood that could come in several configurations to expose different objects and in different spaces. They are looking for a minimalist aesthetic. Their key word is "less is more".
